It is widely known that the elderly and those with preexisting conditions are more susceptible than the general public during the COVID-19 pandemic. Aging naturally weakens the human immune system, putting one at higher risk if they catch the disease, and other conditions can have the same effect.
However, there have been several wonder stories of such people recovering from the virus. A woman in Wuhan, China, at 103 years of age, recovered fully in less than a week, making her the oldest person to survive the coronavirus. Along with her, several other men and women in China and Iran have miraculously made full recoveries, despite all being over the age of 100.
